The loss to Georgia hurts but it may actually get us in a BCS bowl.  If we win out with a quality win against F$U and assuming that Georgia goes to the CCG representing the East and is crushed by Alabama, Florida will almost assuredly have a high enough BCS ranking to get into a BCS bowl.  Had we won against Georgia and won out but were crushed by Alabama, we might not have gotten a BCS bowl offer.  If Georgia loses to Auburn and we win out, we will still have to play and look respectable against Alabama to get a BCS bowl.  Alabama has a defense that can make anyone look bad, so our chances might actually have improved with our Georgia loss.

 

Any other glass half full people out there today?  (Pardon the mixed metaphor, but it is Monday morning quarterback time.)
