I was surprised when McElwain accepted the UF job having to pay off a portion of his own buyout at Colorado State.

Suppossssssssssssssssedly... Stricklin has received some interesting calls from coaches interested in the job. Dooley said he talked to a few that said they were too. He didn't elaborate on who they were though.
It wouldn't shock me though. UF is a Top 5 job in the country. People will want that job.

Nigel Bethel commits to Gators 2018 class
Florida's 2018 class landed a verbal commitment Sunday from a three-star athlete out of Miami.
Nigel Bethel Jr., a 5-foot-11, 160-pounder out of Northwestern High, verbally committed to interim coach Randy Shannon and the Gators via his Twitter account. He also has offers from Georgia, Miami and Louisville, among others.
With Bethel's commitment, which is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent, the Gators have 19 commits in the 2018 class.
