Shannon must go. On the recruiting trail he's too enamored with "under the radar guys" and hasn't shown that he can attract/land the "big fish".Scott Frost would be my choice. The risk is (once again) he has no P5 HC experience, but I think he is a star in the making. Nigel Bethel commits to Gators 2018 class
Florida's 2018 class landed a verbal commitment Sunday from a three-star athlete out of Miami.
Nigel Bethel Jr., a 5-foot-11, 160-pounder out of Northwestern High, verbally committed to interim coach Randy Shannon and the Gators via his Twitter account. He also has offers from Georgia, Miami and Louisville, among others.
With Bethel's commitment, which is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent, the Gators have 19 commits in the 2018 class.
