[gatortalk] Re: [gatornews] [SUN]: Florida cornerback Hargreaves named 1st-team All-SEC

It is a sad state of affairs when we do not have a single person on offense on the first, second, or third teams.

Florida All-American cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III is thought of highly by the SEC media, but UF's offensive players aren't held in the same regard.

The league released its 2015 preseason All-SEC football team Friday, as voted on by media members at SEC Media Days this week.

No Gators made the first, second or third offensive teams. Hargreaves received the second-most votes of any player, behind Georgia's Nick Chubb, to make the defensive first team.

Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard made the second team, and linebacker Antonio Morrison was named to the third team. Morrison is still recovering from an undisclosed knee injury, but Florida coach Jim McElwain expects to have him this season.

The SEC media picked UF to finish fifth in the SEC East division Thursday.
