Coach Mack Brown at Texas is supposedly in a very precarious position. Should he lose to Kansas State this weekend and to Oklahoma the following week, rumors are that he will step down. Texas administration and boosters are highly interested in Nick Saban and would be willing to offer him 8 million a year; however, no one expects him to leave 'Bama. Their next pick is our Will Muschamp who was the "coach in waiting" and defensive coordinator under Mack Brown. Luckily for us he got tired of waiting.
Would he leave to go back to Texas? I don't think so. He is an SEC guy.... grew up a Gator even if he showed a period of horrible judgement with the mutts. He is building something here that he can be proud of... why would he go to Texas to pick up the scraps left by Brown?
