i got that same email too.. i think the plan is to carry it over to the other sports as well.

It wasn't clear whether this will only be for basketball tix in the future or if this is for all season tix, just starting with basketball tix. Basically you can pay in four monthly payments, May through August, so you're still paid up before basketball season actually starts.
