A string of strong storms with hale, 70 mph wind and heavy rain blew through the Hoover RV Park at Regions Park early this morning from 1:00am until 2:00am.
Paula and I suffered no damages to our rig, but did have to wake up and go out and secure the motorhome awning, lawn furniture and Gator decorations. Many folks had their university logo shade tents mangled and at least one motorhome awning was destroyed. Several porta-potties at the edge of the Regions Park main parking lot were blown over.
It seems this happens every year at Hoover.
Paula and I are having breakfast before going over for the first game of the Tournament between Arkansas and Ole Miss.
More later.
