Handed a heater? Is Pete trying to do an April Fools joke on us?
Which of the talented freshmen quarterbacks was the heater? Which of those 250 pound tailbacks was a heater?
What there weren’t any 250 bound tailbacks?
Funny, when Will got most of his team healthy again, including his mediocre at best quarterback, he went into the Gator Bowl and beat Ohio State.
After the recruiting class we just witnessed, which is admittedly thin on OLinemen, does anyone here think we’ll have another season this year like last?
On another note, who are you rooting for tonight? Living here, so close to the Moonshine State, it’s difficult to support Kentucky.
Their fans make the rednecks from Georgia look pretty sophisticated. Think Tennessee fan, just dumber. And, they think it’s their birthright to win the NC, have their pick of coaches (they still can’t believe Billy Donovan turned them down), and John Calipari has just become an honest man.
They are in a word, insufferable.
So, I might be rooting for Kansas on the inside, always supporting my SEC brethren on the outside. (Except for Georgia, of course)

SEC East Coaching Analysis - Hot Seat Status |
|
Georgia head coach Mark Richt | | CollegeFootballNews.com Posted Mar 30, 2012 | | If you needed a coach to take over your program, which SEC East coach would fit? |
2012 SEC East Coaches The Hot Seat Factor 4. Will Muschamp, Florida It’s only been one year, and he did a nice job on the recruiting trail, but he was handed a heater by Urban Meyer and did nothing with it. Remember, Florida had some epic recruiting classes during Urban’s final years, and the new coaching staff didn’t do anything with it. There are four and five-star talents across the board; Florida should roll out of bed and win ten games. To be fair, going on the road to LSU, Auburn, and South Carolina, along with the dates with Georgia, Alabama, and Florida State, didn’t make it easy, but the Gators lost ALL of those games. Turning 41 this summer, Muschamp is still one of the most talented young coaches in college football, but he really, really needs a good 2012. His defenses will always be special, but he needs the offense to follow suit. 105th in the nation in total offense isn’t going to cut it. Hot Seat Status: 8-5, 8-5, and 7-4. Ron Zook never went 7-6. Winning games isn’t enough at Florida. This is a program that’s used to being in the SEC title chase and national championship hunt every year, and if Muschamp doesn’t come up with a big step forward, 2013 will be a make-or-break season. |
