[gatortalk] Countdown to Kickoff - Day 88 Kemore Gamble and Tommy Townsend

The countdown doubles down on day 88 with Kemore Gamble and Tommy Townsend.

Kemore Gamble is a 6' 3" 241 Tight End from Miami, Florida and an early enrollee from the 2017 recruiting class. In 2015, he accounted for 15 receptions for 184 yards and five touchdowns. Gamble chose the Gators over such schools as Tennessee, Alabama, Miami, Wisconsin and a hand full of other programs Some experts believe he could be the passing threat the Gators have needed from his position in a long time and expect him to make an immediate impact this season.

Tommy Townsend decided to depart from the land of evil orange creamsicles as a transfer from some university no one cares about up in the Knoxville region of Tennessee.  He is also the brother of current Gator punter Johnny Townsend (who was robbed of the Ray Guy award last year IMO but we will save that rant when we get to day 19).  Tommy did not see the field in 2016 due to NCAA transfer rules, but I think we can expect that as the No 1 rated kicker in the country coming out of high school where he averaged 43 yards per punt - there will be no drop off once his brother is off and punting in the NFL. Both of his parents were also graduates of THE University of Florida.  Some good genes right there.
