[gatortalk] Bianchi picked the Cats this morning

Running off at the typewriter …

The last time the Kentucky Wildcats beat the Florida Gators was 30 years ago when Ronald Reagan was president, Matlock was the hot new show on TV, Paul Newman won the Oscar for "The Color of Money" and Cyndi Lauper topped the Billboard charts with "True Colors."

Sing it, Cyndi:

"In a world full of people

You can lose sight of it all

And the darkness inside you

Can make you feel so small."

Well, something tells me the Mildcats will go from feeling perpetually small to coming up big today and finally ending their astounding, confounding, humiliating, debilitating 29-game losing streak to the Gators. That's right, Kentucky — a 16-point underdog and coming off an embarrassing second-half collapse in a season-opening loss to Southern Miss last week — will somehow, someway march out of the Swamp today with a program-defining victory.

MIKEY LIKES: Kentucky over Florida by 5
