Whether a 4-3 or a 3-4, we need more than 2 linebackers unless we want to play a nickel defense all game.

The Gators lose senior linebacker Antonio Morrison to graduation and junior Jarrad Davis figures to be the de facto starter heading into the Spring. While Morrison started every game last season, Davis is coming off his first season of consistent playing time and the Gators severely lack depth behind him.
Junior Alex Anzalone, who injured his shoulder and sat out the last 11 games of the season, is the most experienced linebacker behind Davis. And even then, there's no guarantee Anzalone will be able to contribute at the same level he did before the injury, which made the linebacker position an area of great concern.
