I can't answer it with any knowledge, because I didn't read any of the documents or pay attention thru the discipline process.  Since he didn't get in trouble, one would have to conclude that he either wasn't involved in the "bad stuff" or was a small fish. 

 

The truth of all this is Coach Mac wants people around him that are loyal to him, good coaches and excellent recruiters.  Why do you think Kiffin is on Saban's staff?  I doubt they are drinking coffee together.  Taking personal feelings alway from this Shannon fits the mold on all those points. He looks like a good staff hire.
