Ed, you've got a hit! 

Not a DB, a DE.  Which still makes him undersized.

But, according to 100 Days of Gator Football (a site which shall heretofore remain unmentionable as a competitor of The Mighty Darl) says he's also a "double legacy!" (Cue Bowers again)

Not only did his father play for the 1989 Gators, his coach at Dwyer (a Gator pipeline school) is also a Gator.

He's a redshirt freshman, as Darl told us.  So, he might have fattened  up a little over the past year.  He's also a good student.  And, we need good students.  Maybe he can tutor a couple of DLs.

Maybe the typo was "DL" instead of "DB"  :-)

That is the first thing that caught my eye.  The poor kid would not survive in the trenches at 5"11 182 lbs he would get killed.  He would be giving up 100 lbs to our smallest offensive lineman.  Maybe he is a pass rushing specialist?  Naw, that has to be a typo.

Sterling is a 5-11, 182 lbs. redshirt freshman Defensive Lineman from West Palm Beach (Dwyer HS) who spent last season working out with the scout squad. Sterling is the son of UF football letterman Reggie Stanley.
