[gatortalk] Fwd: [gatornews] AJC.com: UGAly flirts a little stronger with top recruit of Florida Gators

This is a well written article. Thanks, Woody, for posting it exactly as written.
It would have been better if he had mentioned the Leghumpers' abject stupidity.  But, still, well written.

UGALYly flirts a little stronger with top recruit of Florida Gators

UGALY got a little more flirtatious in its courtship of one of the top recruits of the Florida Gators.

Antonio "Tee" Riles, a defensive tackle from Archer High School, said he met with UGALY defensive coordinator Todd Grantham on Tuesday, and talked with both Grantham and new Leghumpers defensive line coach Chris Wilson over the telephone on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder who has been committed to Florida since last summer said that Grantham "made it clear" that there was a UGALY scholarship available for Riles, if he wanted it.

"(Grantham) told me that Jawjuh is where I need to be," Riles told the AJC on Thursday night. "He told me where I would be in the rotation and on the depth chart. He also said going to UGALY would be good for my marketability.

"I'm majoring in communications, and going to Jawjuh would play in my favor for a career in that. I plan to move back to Atlanta after I finish college."

Riles said he has also been impressed with Wilson. "He's trying to get to know me. He and (Grantham), they both seem to be pretty good guys."

UGALY hopes to land the commitment of two more defensive tackles before the Feb. 6 signing day. Toby Johnson of Hutchinson junior college has the Leghumpers as his leader, while 5-star Montravius Adams of Dooly County High School is rumored to have Clemson as his frontunner.

Adams is visiting UGALY this weekend, along with LB Reuben Foster, DE Davin Bellamy and RB Alvin Kamara. UGALY will find out where it truly stands with Adams by Sunday.

"(Grantham) talked about the JUCO guy, but they didn't say anything about Montravius," Riles said. "I think Montravius is going to Clemson.  I don't know."

UGALY wants Riles to take an official visit on Feb. 1, the final weekend before signing day. "I don't know about that. I'm really sold on Florida but I don't know. I still have a little doubt when thinking about it."

How would Riles describe the status of his Florida commitment? "I would say I'm pretty solid with Florida. I've built a great bond with the coaches down there, and stuff like that. I know they lost the defensive coordinator but I've really grown fond of the coaches down there."

Florida coach Will Muschamp made his final visit with Riles on Tuesday. "Of course, he would probably be worried about (the UGALY talk). But I don't know if he should be worried."

Riles said he will make a final decision next week on whether or not he will visit UGALY, probably after he meets with Wilson.
