So CD had this to say about JJ's injury:

Florida starting outside linebacker Jelani Jenkins underwent surgery Monday for a broken bone in his foot and is not expected to play in the Gators' bowl game in January.

"He probably will miss the bowl game. Not certain," UF coach Will Muschamp said. "There's a medical term for it. It's a small bone in his foot. He should be fine. It's a four to six-week recovery and he'll be fine."

It is 42 days before our bowl, last time I checked with the Mayans, 42 days is in fact 6 weeks.
