He actually was a guest lecturer after he wrote the book...I was at UF when he did the lecturers and got to sit in on one of them. He was great, and of course, we ALL wanted to know about "the scene" and where he got his info :-) Don't know if he came back as a full-fledged prof after I graduated in '73...
