Florida outscored No. 19 Florida State 43-25 in the second half Sunday to end a seven-game losing streak to its state rival, 71-55, at the O'Connell Center.

Four Gators (2-0) score in double figures, including Colin Castleton's first career double-double (15 points/career-high 16 rebounds and six blocks).

FSU (1-1) took a 44-43 lead at the 11:12 mark of the second half. It was all Gators after that, going on a 28-11 run to beat the Seminoles for the first time since 2013.
