I'm apprehensive of expanding any further. The individual schedules are already unequal in terms of difficulty. Having 8 team divisions may lead to not playing everyone in your own division or hardly ever playing a team from the other division. As each division grows to the size of a conference, it could also lead to a split into two new separate conferences.
