I hope Mullen goes ahead and picks a starter soon. Waiting until the first game prevents the "guy" from getting the snaps he needs to be properly prepared to play the season.
I suspect it will be Franks. God knows Franks needs all of the snaps he can get to get ready!

All three Florida quarterbacks made progress in Sunday night's scrimmage, but coach Dan Mullen is still not ready to name his starting quarterback for the Sept. 1 opener.
Mullen said Monday that the three — Feleipe Franks, Kyle Trask and Emory Jones — all graded out a champion in the scrimmage.
The plan, Mullen said, is for him to meet with quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson later this week to discuss the situation and then possibly determine a starter.
Mullen said the starter for the opener should hold the position, as he is not planning to use the first game to figure out who the starter will be.
