[gatortalk] FW: [gatornews] [SUN]: Florida basketball's path will likely lead through Orlando

Ok, invite Kentucky.  But, whatever you do, DO NOT INVITE LOUISVILLE!!

I do not want to see Billy choke against Pitino!

Florida basketball's path will likely lead through Orlando

It is likely Florida's NCAA Tournament journey will begin in Orlando on March 20, although we won't know who UF is playing until March 16 and what time the Gators will play until later that night (once CBS decides).

But it will be a tough and expensive ticket.

Florida receives 350 tickets from the NCAA (no matter where the tourney is played) and can ask for another 200, which it will. But out of that 550, there are tickets for players and staff that will be used. That doesn't leave a lot for fans.

Your best bet may be to buy tickets directly through the Amway Center. There are plenty of seats available with the package for all sessions ranging from $395 to $1,350, according to the venue's website.

What you have to remember is that the NCAA basketball tournament is the NCAA's biggest source of income so the prices tend to be outrageous.

And also remember this — there's always the possibility Kentucky will be sent to Orlando in the other pod that will be playing there. And there is no price too high for the Big Blue Nation to see their Wildcats play.

Tickets can be purchased at amwaycenter.com or by calling 1-877-NCAATIX.

One caveat — Florida is not 100-percent assured of playing in Orlando.
