Embiid was considered raw, he came from Camaroon and only played one year at the Rock School, and had only been in the US for two years, so he didn't have any real ties to the Gators or Gainesville.
Everyone knew he would be a star, but thought it would take home a year or two to develop into a prime time big man. After last night, he may be a one and done.
