Remember how the Gators stumbled through the season of 2006. Every one was sure Ohio State was going to drill the Gators. 

Of course, that didn't happen.  It turned out strength of schedule did matter. 

FSU's schedule is pretty weak this year. Clemson is the only good team that comes to mind. And, look at what the Gamecocks did to them. 

I think the semis are good, but any team that gets through the SEC schedule with a SECCG win is pretty darned good. Good luck notwithstanding.
