You are both right, because the away schools always give the visiting team crappy seats.  The advantages in buying them through UF is that you are assured tickets, you only pay the face value price and you don't have to sit next to a Georgia fan...right, Oliver?

My experience is that even as a bull gator you often get crappy seats through the ticket office.

If you buy tix to an away game (or a bowl game) through the Gator ticket office, you get bad seats unless you are a high-level booster. It's still worth doing if it's a primo game and you would have to pay a high price to buy elsewhere. However, if tix are pretty widely available, then you do better not buying from the Gator ticket office.
