Re: [gatortalk] Lattimore questionable for Saturday

I see what he did there...

GAINESVILLE, FL. -- Florida running back Mike Gillislee did not
practice Wednesday because of a boo boo on his pinky toe and coach Dawg said
his senior star might not start Saturday against No. 9 South Carolina.

Spurrier had said Lattimore was running well earlier in the week, but the
COLUMBIA, S.C. -- South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore did not
practice Wednesday because of a bruised hip and coach Steve Spurrier said
his junior star might not start Saturday against No. 3 Florida.

Coach Dawg had said Gillislee was running well earlier in the week, but the
injury kept him out of Wednesday's workout. Gillislee arrived at practice
and watched from the sidelines.

If Gillislee can't go, Coach Daeg said backup Mack Brown and freshman Matt
jones would handle the load at tailback.

"We're sort of banged up all of a sudden," CoachDawg said.

And then there's the flu bug, which Coach Dawg said has kept most Gators
from working out this week. The entire offensive and defensive lines missed practice Tuesday and are questionable for the game.

Coach Dawg was hopeful all players hit by the flu could play on Saturday. But said the reality is we have no chance and will probably have to play most of the game with our scout team.
