New look in The Swamp
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will have a new look when the Gators host Bowling Green on Sept. 1.
The famous "Gator Head" is replacing the block-style "F" on the 50-yard line at Florida Field, and the logo will be 60 feet wide (from 40-yard line to 40-yard line) and 40 feet deep (between the hashmarks). In honor of all Gator letterwinners, the letter "F" will move to adjacent positions on each 25-yard line — opposite the official SEC logos — and be scripted in the updated Gator font.
Other graphics around the stadium, including the trademark phrases on the four orange walls, will also be in the new font.
