PR is absolutely part of the job. The UAA has a media relations staff and Muschamp should be working with them and providing a regular flow of information. Don't blame the media for not validating something if Muschamp refused to talk to them.

He made an unscheduled appearance to clear up what a member of the media should have done before they reported it. Its not UF or Must-Chomps fault that the media (robbie Andreu) reported something on twitter before he validated it. Must-Chomp has a job to do and its not public relations.

Bosses sometimes think that isolation protects them, when in fact it does the opposite.

I agree with Bianchi on this. I can understand the argument for closing practice during the season, but I think it's ridiculous that Muschamp can't talk to the media for a few minutes after practice each day. He needs the media a lot more than Saban does.
