The rumors are that is was much more than just an "altercation".  Some talk about racial comments being made over Facebook/Twitter, then an offended player confronting one of the trio.  The fighting occurred supposedly when the offended player said they were taking the issue to Coach Walton.

UF has suspended 3 players, SS, 3rd base and left fielder for opening game of NCAA regional being hosted by UF.  UF lost the opener to FGCU 1-2.

 

The suspensions were alledgedly for fighting.
